Excellent game! Starting off with the emergency broadcast noise and static looking missing persons picture set the time period very well. It was great you gave things to interact with in the diner to make feel like a real place. The short gameplay and small setting made for easy exploration and no padding. The ending was satisfying as you find out what happened to Sierra and see the monster for yourself. You are a fantastic storyteller.

This feedback means a lot, thank you so much for playing!!!

Glad you guys enjoyed it, I try my best.

Thank you for playing! You missed quite a few interactables here and there, but regardless, good vid.

Glad you had fun!

A short, sweet and saccharine experience (just don't eat anything inside the diner.) Even with its short length there was an ethereal terror element involved that kept me engrossed.

Pros:

  • Short, but for what it lacked in longevity more than made up in atmosphere and shock value
  • Sound design was key in creating the ambiance and was very craftily made

Cons:

  • Invisible walls distilled my immersion a little - in the fact that you couldn't go behind the diner at the beginning
  • Stinky toilet is stinky. Holly could have washed her hands at the sink afterwards, at least...

A treat to watch. Feedback is great too! Thanks!

I really hope you expand upon this lore with your next one - it was really atmospheric and tense!

Honestly, Holly is the real villain of this story. Cannot even wash your hands after fishing the key from the toilet. Gross stuff. Haha

Lmao, Holly needed to get vibe checked at the end for that.

Jokes aside, thank you so much for playing!!

A truly fun short horror experience. Enjoyed playing it. Loved the numerous interactable objects.  And...Got to eat a donut. lol 10/10 would play again! Check the video for full gameplay!

Ahoy there, thank you so much for playing!!

The video was very entertaining to watch, although you forgot to toggle the flashlight!
Controls were on the game page, not in the game itself, so I understand.

Regardless, great gameplay! Thank you!

Finally got around to playing. Kept you waiting huh?

Firstly, right from the get-go, you can tell a lot of love & care has been poured into this game. Despite being short, this is one of the most atmospheric games I have played in a while. From the subtle changes in audio spatialization to the interactable objects. Everything was so on point. I like the creepy eyes in the storage room, and when the lights went out, I knew I was in trouble. I really liked this game & I am eager to see what you bring us next.
Keep up the great work!

Oh! One more thing. Bobo nekked in a diner. That is all.

Thank you so much Aaron, the feedback is appreciated.

Glad it was enjoyable!

Seems cool but now when i release my game called The Diner, people will think im copying your game.

Hey there, no worries about that. The indie market is not that large, and sharing a name won't be the end all be all. However, it might cause confusion to players. Keep that in mind.

Brilliant short experience!

The atmosphere of the game is superb. I loved the character movement and animations. It was everything I expected judging from the screenshots, although I had a blast of a surprise in the end. Definitely worth checking out.

Best of luck with the future developments. Cheers!

And, a little side note about the asset you used - most developers are using assets publicly available on the indie market. I don't think anyone would associate your game with others. The market is not that big, so, one way or another we all use same asset packs and environments, lol. The point is that you found a great use of it - good job!

Hey Niven! Appreciate the feedback, thank you!!

And yeah that's correct, you have a point with the message about the game's asset usage.

Once again thanks for playing!
